Please note this is one day shorter than our reunions have been in the past.

Cost:  Room rate is $111, two doubles or a king, which includes breakfast. With taxes of 10.25%, the nightly rate is $122.38. The rate is good for two days before or after. Parking is free.

Hotel Reservation Process
To ensure that you get the group rate, follow one of the options below:
Option A
  1. Visit the 39th FSA Reunion Link
  2. The 39th Fighter Squadron Reunion reservation page will appear.
  3. (a) You can look at the options, king or double, and click on "Check Room Availability" to go to the next screen where you select the number of rooms you need and the number of people per room. Then you click the green "continue" button.
    (b) Or you can click the grey "Book a Room" which will take you to the room and people screen, enter your numbers then click the green "continue" button. The next screen will allow you to select the room type you want by clicking the green "select" button.
  4. Complete the "Guest Information" form and make any special request you might want, then click the green "continue" button.
  5. Review your Reservation Summary and provide your payment information, then click the green "book reservation" button to finalize your reservation.
  6. You can print you reservation information from the confirmation screen. You will, however, receive a reservation confirmation eMail.


Option B
Call the hotel directly at 719.598.6866.
Tell them you are with the "39th Fighter Squadron" to ensure you get the group rate.

Wedneday September 14
Arrivals throughout the day: No formal events planned.
Thursday September 15
National Museum of the Pacific War: Admiral Nimitz said in 1945 "Uncommon valor was a common virtue." The National Museum of the Pacific War is dedicated to honoring, teaching and preserving this chapter of our nation's history. Fredericksburg, TX was founded in 1846 and is the unofficial capital of the Texas Hill County. The town has maintained its charm by preserving the architecture and institutions of historical importance and encouraging the development of Main Street's shops, galleries, brew pubs and restaurants.
Friday September 16
39th Flying Training Squadron (FTS): The 39th FTS will, once again, host the Association at their headquarters on Randolph AFB. They plan a catered lunch and are working on a couple of tour possibilities. We can all look forward to a great visit. We will have everyone back to the hotel so they have time to rest up before the dinner cruise.
River Cruise Dinner: We have contracted for one boat, limit 20 people. Reservations will be filled based on the date I receive your Reunion Registration form.
Saturday September 17
Annual Business Meeting and Memorial Service: The FRIO III Room from 9:30am to 11:00am.
The rest of the day is open to allow you to just "veg out" or enjoy some of the suggestions in the newsletter.
Banquet: The banquet will be held in the FRIO III Room. Happy hour is from 5:30 to 6:00pm with dinner and program from 6:00 to 8:00pm. The Hospitality Room will be open the rest of the evening.
Sunday September 18
